THe B.A.N.G.JUBILEE CALCULATOR-5.0

The B.A.N.G. Jubilee Calculator (BJC-5.0)

For dedicated researchers

The B.A.N.G. Jubilee Calculator 5.0 is an advanced Jubilee-chronology engine built for serious biblical genealogical, chronological, and eschatological research across canonical and non-canonical texts. This calculator is the refined continuation of an idea conceived in 2021, immediately after I finished reading The Book of Jubilees and recognized that the text’s internal structure demanded a precise, testable Jubilee-based framework.

The very first BJC was not coded in an app at all,it was built in Google Sheets as a working research instrument. That original spreadsheet version proved the concept: a Jubilee-cycle calculator could be made functional, repeatable, and research-grade rather than speculative. BJC-5.0 is the modern, optimized evolution of that original Google Sheets architecture, rebuilt as a dedicated interactive tool with speed, clarity, and expanded capabilities.

Purpose and Intended Use

BJC-5.0 is designed for researchers, teachers, and students who need to locate and compare key time markers using Jubilee structure, especially for work involving:

  • Biblical genealogies (lifespans, generational spacing, lineage events)

  • Chronological mapping (event placement, cycle location, distance between events)

  • Eschatological pattern research (prophetic intervals, period alignment, timeline framing)

  • Cross-text analysis using:

    • Scripture (canonical texts)

    • Book of Jubilees

    • Book of Jasher

    • Testament traditions

    • Other historical/biblical chronography sources where Jubilee structure matters

BJC-5.0 is built to help you calculate, visualize, confirm, and compare time positions inside Jubilee timekeeping, quickly and repeatably, without requiring spreadsheets or hand math.

6) Jubilee Finder / Locator (Direct-Year Reverse Lookup)

Core Capabilities and Features (Full Feature List)

1) Jubilee Cycle Position Calculator (Research-Grade Input Model)

BJC-5.0 lets you calculate an event’s exact position inside Jubilee structure using:

  • Jubilee Cycle number (1–120)

  • Complete weeks (0–6)

  • Additional years (0–7)

Outputs include:

  • Anno Mundi (AM) year

  • Astronomical AD year (derived via the calculator’s fixed offset)

  • BCE/CE dis

BJC-5.0 lets you calculate an event’s exact position inside Jubilee structure using:

  • Complete weeks (0–6)

  • Additional years (0–7)

Outputs include:

  • Anno Mundi (AM) year

  • Astronomical AD year (derived via the calculator’s fixed offset)

  • BCE/CE display mode (historical format with “no year 0”)

  • Year-in-cycle

  • Week number

  • Year-in-week

  • Sabbatical indicators

  • Closing-year indicators

  • Jubilee-year handling (Year 50 flagged separately)

This creates a structured “address” for every event in Jubilee time.

2) Dual 7×7 Timeline Grids (AM Grid + AD/BCE-CE Grid)

BJC-5.0 includes two synchronized timeline grids for immediate visual verification:

A) AM 7×7 Grid

  • Displays Years 1–49 of a Jubilee cycle (7 weeks × 7 years)

  • Marks:

    • First year of the cycle

    • Sabbatical years

    • Final year (Year 49)

    • Target year highlight

  • Keeps Year 50 handled as a separate Jubilee-year flag (not forced into the 49-year gri

B) AD / BCE-CE 7×7 Grid

  • Mirrors the AM grid year-for-year

  • Displays:

    • Astronomical AD values (with year 0)

    • Or Historical BCE/CE values (no year 0)

  • Keeps target highlights synchronized across both grids so a selected AM year is automatically located in the second grid.

This dual-grid design helps researchers quickly align Jubilee structure against conventional era labeling without altering the underlying math..

3) Era Display Mode Toggle (Astronomical vs Historical)

3) Era Display Mode Toggle (Astronomical vs Historical)

BJC-5.0 includes a deliberate era-mode selection so users can work with the display system they need:

  • Astronomical (Year 0 allowed): precise numerical continuity (… −1, 0, 1 …)

  • Historical (No Year 0): BCE/CE formatting for teaching and publication

This feature is display-only; the core calculations remain consistent.

4) 7-Event Tracker (

4) 7-Event Tracker (Multi-Event Research Panel)

BJC-5.0 includes a 7-slot event tracker built for real research workflows:

  • Store up to seven computed events

  • Save each event with a label and full computed output

  • Compare event placements quickly without retyping

  • Review multiple key events in sequence while staying near the grids

This is designed for real timeline work, genealogical sequencing, prophecy intervals, and multi-event alignment.

5) Distance Measurement Between Events (Research Delta Engine)

BJC-5.0 is designed to support “distance in time” analysis between events stored in the tracker, including:

  • Years between events (ΔYears)

  • Jubilee distance (ΔYears ÷ 50)

  • Weeks distance (ΔYears ÷ 7)

This makes the tool useful not only for locating years, but for proving or disproving interval claims by direct calculation.

3) Era Display Mode Toggle (Astronomical vs Historical)

BJC-5.0 includes a locator tool for reverse mapping:

  • Enter an AM year
  • Instantly receive:
    • Jubilee cycle number
    • Year-in-cycle
    • Week + year-in-week position
    • Era display in AD/BCE/CE form
  • Supports decimal position inputs (SJF-style decimal placement), allowing “location” style lookups that mirror serious chronography workflows.

This transforms the calculator from a “forward calculator” into a true research locator.

7) Always-Visible Validation Status (Credibility Mechanism)

BJC-5.0 includes a validation system designed to protect the calculator’s integrity during updates:

  • A visible banner confirms that locked test vectors PASS
  • Ensures the math is preserved across feature changes and UI refactors
  • Helps researchers trust repeatability by making system self-checks visible, not hidden

8) Speed-Optimized Layout (Designed for Real Use)

BJC-5.0 is structured for speed and usability:

  • High-use panels are positioned to minimize scrolling

  • Core workflows remain near the grids

  • Auxiliary reference sections (such as DCM explanations) are placed lower for quick access without slowing core operation

9) Embed-Ready / Presentation-Ready Mode (when enabled)

BJC-5.0 supports clean layout behavior intended for integration into larger research ecosystems, allowing it to function as:

  • a standalone tool

  • an embedded research panel

a companion calculator inside a larger platform (such as BJMS)
